A Kickstarter Milestone and an Inspiring Day on Capitol Hill

Thanks to our wonderful backers, Indivisible’s Kickstarter campaign reached an exciting milestone today—we broke the $10,000 mark! We are so grateful for your support and generosity. And we look forward to welcoming more backers to the team as we continue making progress toward our goal over the next 21 days. Please keep spreading the word!

Yesterday, Indivisible spent the day filming more than 200 activists as they pressed Republicans in the House of Representatives to act on immigration reform. The day started at 6 a.m. when the activists—many of whom have been separated from deported loved ones for years—gathered outside Speaker John Boehner’s house to demand a vote on immigration reform.

When the Speaker didn’t emerge, the activists headed to the halls of Congress to share their stories and remind our elected leaders that this issue is about real people.

The day ended when 11 Dreamers were arrested for refusing to leave House Majority Leader Eric Cantor’s office unless he agreed to act on immigration reform.
